BlackReef Posted January 27 Posted January 27 I'm running: 4070ti i7 14700k 32" Samsung 4k G8 oled I've set FPS limit in DCS to 120. The refresh rate for the monitor is 240. I do get pretty smooth movements with head tracking in MSFS 2020, but DCS there's always like some type of small screen tearing or something. I watch videos of other people with less hardware than I have in their head movements are very smooth. I've tried all kinds of track IR5 profiles. I use Spudknocker now but I don't think the issue has anything to do with the profile. I think there is some type of mismatch between the refresh rate of my monitor, the refresh rate of the track IR, the the frame rate, even though they're all divisible by 60 or 30. I've tried turning down the refresh rate on the monitor. I've tried turning the frame rate to 60 FPS in DCS. It overall looks decently smooth but I'm OCD and trying to get that butter smooth look that I see in so many other people set ups. It actually makes a big difference and a dog fight when you're looking left to right quickly and it seems to have some screen tear or something. Maybe I've just maxed out all my graphics settings for the hardware I have. Maybe a 5080 will fix that?
450Devil Posted January 28 Posted January 28 In DCS Settings do you have Motion Blur set to OFF and the Motion Blur Amount slider full left?
