Snacko Posted February 3 Posted February 3 I just installed a clean version of Windows 11 Pro a few weeks ago and am getting everything setup. Today I noticed this.. SimAppPro is enabled in the Startup tab of Task Manager. And when you click the little > arrow to see what all it's doing, I found this ridiculous list of crap! Is SimAppPro Spying on me??? I immediately disabled it.. I don't need it running all the time, and blocked it from the firewall to see what happens. 1 Snack Officer Intel I9-10850K (OC @ 5.0ghz) │ 64GB (4x16GB) DDR4 3200 │Gigabyte RTX 4090 Gaming OC 24gb - ҉ - Blackshark Cockpit Trainer - ҉ - ♣ Thread | ♥ Download

It even installs itself in the AppData folder. @MustangSally Do you have this app? If so, is yours like this?? If not, how old are you? Have been for four years since being one of the initial purchasers. I use it it with my PTO, UFC and Top Gun MIP. Not an issue at all. Btw a lot of apps have installations in Appdata! Oh and how old am I?? Old enough to know that the sky isn't falling when Simappro is running! Wostg Posted February 4 Posted February 4 It installed itself in the appdata because you literally instructed it to install in the appdata folder. It explicitly asks you whether you would like to keep it there every single time you update. Just have always thought that was strange. But after a quick look, I see a ton of .exes in Local. Can you take a screenshot of your SimAppPro in the Task Manager/Startup tab? Just so I can see if they are the same?
