Lixma 06 Posted February 14 Posted February 14 (edited) The command 'Flap Cycle' (F, and also if mapped to controller) does not work unless/until the in-cockpit switch has been moved by the player. This only occurs in certain situations - Turning Point/Fly over Point (Air Start) - OK Takeoff from Ramp - OK Takeoff from Ground - OK Landing - OK Takeoff from Parking Hot - X Takeoff from Runway - X Takeoff from Ground Hot - X Test F-18 Flaps Cycle.miz Edited February 14 by Lixma 06 1
Lixma 06 Posted 6 hours ago Author Posted 6 hours ago (edited) Another recent report prompts this bump. The problem is the flap cycle command, either keyboard or mapped to a controller, does not work until the player first moves the flaps manually (either by keyboard, in-cockpit mouse, or controller binding). Once moved, the cycle command works fine. The appearance of the bug also depends where the player spawns. Turning Point/Fly over Point (Air Start) - OK Takeoff from Ramp - OK Takeoff from Ground - OK Landing - OK Takeoff from Parking Hot - BUGGED Takeoff from Runway - BUGGED Takeoff from Ground Hot - BUGGED I've attached a TRK which, for the first few seconds, is just me mashing the flap cycle on the keyboard and my throttle and nothing happening; hopefully TRK files record player inputs. I then manually flip the switch, and then continue cycling the switch via the throttle once it has 'woken up'. In addition the video also shows me un-binding and re-binding the command before attempting to use the cycle command. f-18 flaps switch stuck.trk Edited 5 hours ago by Lixma 06 1
MAXsenna Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Do you have "Sync with HOTAS at mission start" enabled? If not, could you try?

Lixma 06 Posted 6 hours ago Author Posted 6 hours ago To clarify - Flaps UP, DOWN, HALF, FULL, AUTO commands all work fine. It's Flaps CYCLE that's bugged...at least until the switch has already been moved (whether by mouse, keyboard or controller).
