Jel Posted February 16 Posted February 16 (edited) So i got a map built for multiplayer, including some slots for the SU25. We also have some radio stations with music playing on frequencies FM 33.3, 33.2 and 33.1, also on VHF 116.4 and 116.5 I noticed several ppl telling me, that when they hop into one of the SU25 slots, the radio is already playing for them. The plane itself is set to comms on VHF 124.000. I never touched the low-fi planes myself, so i don´t really know how their systems work. How can it be the music is heard when the plane doesn´t even have the righ freq. dialed ? Is it maybe the client has "easy comms" activated (even tho i enforce settings "realistic comms" through the map) ? Edited February 16 by Jel When in doubt - climb. Nobody ever collided with air. razo+r Posted February 16 Posted February 16 The Su-25 in DCS has simplified communication/radios like all FC3 aircraft. They listen to all frequencies at all times. You cannot change any frequency, as this is not modeled. 1

I didn´t know they listen to ALL freq., just thought they listened to the one seen in the editor (vhf 124). Guess they just have to set their volume to 0 then When in doubt - climb. If you want them to enjoy the mission without getting a headache, you as the mission designer need to get creative, or remove FC aircraft from the mission all together. 1

Unfortunately, unchecking the "comms" option for the FC plane in the editor doesn´t really do anything, i hoped that would just turn the comms off for them completely... Any ideas welcome. There are three easy options that will work: - Force player to lower their game volume - Remove the music - Remove FC airplanes. Some options I can think off, but they won't work well: - Force on/off the music with triggers. Either via F10 menu on user preference, un/muting the music for everyone or only when a FC plane spawns. - Place a vehicle that broadcasts the music behind terrain, so people only hear it in a specific location.
