RTS354 Posted February 18 Posted February 18 I watched several videos where many players have assigned up to eight JDAMS to Pre-Program 1 or PP1, but I can only assign two JDAMS to PP1. I have followed the video procedures that many players have posted on YouTube, but these procedures do not work for me. Here's a video of me trying to program all four JDAMS: Programming JDAMS in PP1 mode It seems that I can only assign Pre-program modes only to the pylons and not the individual JDAMS. Is this correct. The manual doesn't explain how Pre-program modes are supposed to work, but it only explains the procedures. The manual gives the following procedures of which I followed with the exception of steps 1 and 2: INS-GPS Weapon in PP Mode 1. Master Arm switch to ARM 2. Master Mode switch to A/G 3. Select JDAM or JSOW bomb from top of the SMS page 4. Select PP mode 5. Allow weapons to align down to 7:30 for GOOD ALN QUAL 6. Set EFUZ to INST 7. Select JDAM/JSOW DSPLY 8. Set QTY (quantity to drop) 9. Select MSN (pre-planned mission) 10. Select PP mission (1 to 6) 11. Select the TGT UFC and enter ELEV (elevation) and POSN (position coordinate) of the mission target 12. Align steering with target bearing and press weapon release button when IN RNG cue on HUD is displayed
miguelaco Posted February 18 Posted February 18 You can't set individual targets to bombs in the same station AFAIK. The next best thing you can do is to set the first 4 targets in PP1 and the other 4 in PP2, release 4 bombs, switch all stations to PP2 and pickle again to release the last 4. With a little practice you can do all this in a single run.

Align steering with target bearing and press weapon release button when IN RNG cue on HUD is displayed You can't assign more than 1 set of coordinates to PP1 on any station. If you're using 2x jdam's on a single pylon you have to put in coordinates into PP1 and then the other set into PP2. During weapon release it will not auto step the PP2 mission's for each station. So when you are releasing you have drop the first 2 stations in PP1. Then switch the station to PP2 (from the mission page) for the first station, release. Then swap the other station to PP2 before releasing.
RTS354 Posted February 18 Author Posted February 18 OK, Thanks, so in the video by DeepHack, he had four pylons with two JDAMS each, so that is how he got four JDAMS on PP1, while I only had two pylons with two JDAMS, so I could only program two coordinates? So to program the other two, I have to which to PP2 and then duplicate what I did with PP1? When dropping the JDAMS after they are programmed, I need to select PP1 and then drop one JDAM at a time until two are dropped, an then switch to PP2 and then repeat. Is this correct?

RTS354 Posted February 18 Author Posted February 18 I using two pylons with two each, which would be the same, correct?
