NorthernMenace Posted February 22 Posted February 22 I'm looking for a definitive answer as to whether the HP Reverb G2 supports the idea of passing through an image as received by the front cameras of the 'real world' on demand. I'm not interested in a full-scale 'mixed reality' passthrough. My use case is simply, when I toggle a HOTAS button, I want to be able to see my physical keyboard in front of me to press keys, and then press a HOTAS button to return to VR view. At present, I am having to physically lift my VR headset with my hands to be able to see the keyboard, it's a pain...
speed-of-heat Posted February 22 Posted February 22 The G2 supports a limited low resolution greyscale pass through. It’s triggered by saying “flashlight “ and there is an equivalent keyboard command it projects a hole in that shows the outside world , when i used it you couldn’t really see the key labels… but it might be suitable for your use case 1 SYSTEM SPECS: Hardware AMD 9800X3D, 64Gb RAM, 4090 FE, Virpil T50CM3 Throttle, WinWIng Orion 2 & F-16EX + MFG Crosswinds V2, Varjo Aero SOFTWARE: Microsoft Windows 11, VoiceAttack & VAICOM PRO YOUTUBE CHANNEL: @speed-of-heat
