JAMMER POD, Doers it work against RADAR Controlled Ship Weapons?

Hey just wanted to ask if the Jammer POD works on RADAR Controlled Shipbourne Weapons? AMy Jammer was all haeted up and on constant emission. I got shot down anyway.

A jammer in DCS will only slightly reduce the range at which you get shot, it will NOT magically make you unshootable.

This is a question you have to ask ED about.

The effect of jammers in DCS are not implemented on the side of the ones who make the module carrying the pod, but on the side of the module with the radar. That is, whether and how a weapon will be effected from a jammer is decided completely by the code of the one who is responsible for this weapon, similar for aircraft. That is, how an enemy F-18 will be effected by your Viggen jammer solely depends on the code of the F-18 - not the Viggen.

Thanks man, I was just wonder because I watrched a video by the Grim Reapers and he was able to make a SAM miss. I know I will not be all invincible but I'd like a chance at least. BTW I love this bird. You all did an amazing job in it!

He might have made it miss by outflying it. If a SAM launches at you, it means it has a solid lock. A jammer alone won't make it miss, it might make it fire at you later than it normally would and force it to use a less efficient proportional guidance method, which may make the SAM easier to dodge, but that's all.
