solus Posted March 9 Posted March 9 After recent patch the game crashes on loading mission, usually on "loading world 1\60". I did some testing and realized that it crashes when my AI track and Open track are working. Sometimes it shows "TrackIR error". Unfortuanely, I dodn't find ways to lauch the game with head tracking software. Before the patch everything worked OK. Извините за внимание

Try temporarily to rename the DCS Saved Games folder to DCS.old and see if that helps. The title is a little misleading, I was under the impression that it was a TrackIR and not an OpenTrack issue.Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

MAXsenna Posted March 9 Posted March 9 The latest one 24.1.1What happens if you disable AI Track? And, OpenTrack crashes from time to time for me. And I can always restart it or start after I've started a mission in DCS. Are you saying DCS hangs if OpenTrack is running? What happens if you start a mission and then start OpenTrack after the mission is loaded?Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk I did some more testing and it seems like any additional apps running during DCS can crash it. Looks like after recent patch the game became much more demanding in terms of PC resources. Why? Everything was good for me on 4070 laptop at extreme level of settings. Now it runs OK only on medium. I can't send logs because my PC collapses completely and I have to restart it manually every time after DCS freezes. 1 Извините за внимание

The logs are stored in C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS\Logs. These logs are kept even after restarting your PC. They only get overwritten when you start DCS up again, so grab the logs after it crashes before starting the game again. The log file will be dcs.log , or a text document named just "dcs" if your Windows is hiding file extensions. There may also be a zip file created in that directory which contains additional information so attach both here.
