-Scrat- Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Hi all, I have bought a new computer recently and am doing a few tests in terms of graphics. I just saw that in normal view, some instruments and written caution messages are difficult to read and look blurry with some aliaising (distortion), see pictures below. When I zoom in, everything is clear and looks perfect (see below, such as the fuel figures in the F-14). This problem is not so obvious on the F-18/F-16, but more present on the F-14, F-4 and Mirage 2000. I have tried different settings such as playing with MSAA, DLSS, paying with quality vs high performance etc. Anyone had the same issue before? I have added a picture of my settings below. Any tips would be welcome! Scrat
MAXsenna Posted March 12 Posted March 12 MSAA (x4) has a lot of shimmering for me, while blurry instruments have never been an issue. I've opted for DLAA. Much less shimmering and no blurry instruments at all. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

MAXsenna Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Thank you for your reply. I am currently using DLAA but has you can see above the result is not really good Ah, I'm on my cell and couldn't zoom in far enough, so I went by the text, which said DLSS. Too bad it doesn't work for you. Have you read through the various DLSS/DLAA threads? Maybe those can help. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Unfortunately I've never sat in one, let alone at night. It can be a limitation on the backlight tech for its time as lamps and stencils, or can be a limitation of how it was implemented into the sim. Nevertheless, it can be worked around.

Do you think it's DCS core game issue or HB issue ?
