Terrorvogel Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Hello, is it only me or is there a huge bug that the force feedback trim is not working anymore in DCS World 2.9.13.6818? In settings "no spring and FFB" is set and "force feedback" is activated. Tried the two other trim settings too... All other force feedback effects are working without any issues so far except the most important helicopter-trim to move the joystick and hold its position for which i bought all this expensive stuff. This makes me really crazy... I additionally tested with Microsoft Sidewinder 2 FFB to see if it is maybe only a MOZA problem but it is not. Same here then... MOZA AB9 Base is updated with latest firmware of course and using activated "telemetry FFB" for DCS World. Is this a known bug and how can this be solved? THX so far Best regards, Terrorvogel ASROCK X79 Extreme11 (WC), i7-4930K (WC), 32GB G.Skill TridentX, Vertex 3 120GB, GTX 980ti, 3x 39,5" Philips 4K, TrackIR 5, TM Warthog with PeterP´s FFB2 Mod, 2xSaitek Throttle, 2x Thrustmaster Cougar MFD Bezel, Simped Vario Pedals modded with toe brakes, Opencockpit Cards, 4x Soundcard, 2x Buttkicker Gamer 2, 4x GTX 950 with tons of touchscreens...
Solution MAXsenna Posted March 17 Solution Posted March 17 2 hours ago, Terrorvogel said: In settings "no spring and FFB First of all. This setting is not for FFB. It actually says "Without springs and FFB", which means without springs nor FFB. Use the first one, Default. That's for FFB. Even so, it only affects the trimming mode. It seems to me FFB is turned off altogether, as no one else have reported this, so it must be a local problem. Which helicopter module is this? Read again, you have working FFB effects when you turn on telemetry for the Moza. Pretty positive FFB is not turned on in the Misc settings. Cheers! 1
Terrorvogel Posted March 18 Author Posted March 18 Hello, FFB was always turned on in the misc settings and as i said other FFB effects are working without any issues but not all effects as i now know... I have found out the working setting now inside the MOZA Cockpit because you mentioned theat telemetry thingy. So thank you very much for this hint! In MOZA Cockpit Software under "Basic Settings" the Force Feedback Mode in the upper, needs to be on "Integrated FFB" and the trim is working fine now with all of my modules using the DCS settings under "Spezial" -> "without springs and FFB". What is very important when changing parameters inside the MOZA Cockpit Software you should better save them every time and most important when jumping back to DCS World for checking you MUST hit ALT+Enter to get DCS in foreground every time again. If not, force feedback effects like trim are not working anymore which is very confusing then. I thought it was the other way around, but all is well when it ends well! 10 minutes ago, Terrorvogel said: "without springs and FFB". This probably works, but be a aware that this setting is basically for bases without neither springs nor FFB. Just have it in the back of your mind, as I did have an issue with some module I can't remember, and the "Default" will always be for FFB. The wording is a little off and confusing actually. 13 minutes ago, Terrorvogel said: What is very important when changing parameters inside the MOZA Cockpit Software you should better save them every time and most important when jumping back to DCS World for checking you MUST hit ALT+Enter to get DCS in foreground every time again. MAXsenna Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Thank you, will have a deeper look at it and try this out what´s the differences and if there are onesTo be honest, I haven't found a difference for FFB, except there was one module I had issues. Might have been the Gazelle before the FM update. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
