I noticed in my DCS log that DCS is assigning core performance classes (0-6). It also recognizes common cores vs render cores. How is this being accomplished and what exactly does this mean? Attached is a pic from the log showing this. What does each class represent?

What CPU are you using?

AMD 3800x, Asrock 570X Taichi, 32GB Corsair Platinum, MSI 1080Ti, Corsair MP600 Gen 4 1TB NVMe. Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB NVMe, Samsung 860 1TB SSD, Custom Watercooling, AOC 32" 4K Screen.

i am not ED, but there is no such thing and render cores in the cpu, this is a choice by ED to use threats or cores specifically for rendering.

On AMD CPUs with multiple CCDs then the Bios settings, the OS settings or third party program settings can be used to prioritise whether the CCD with the extra cache is used, or the CCD with the higher core speed is used.  If you run a multi CCD CPU like 9950X3D then its easy to see which CCD the game is using most.

I have found that DCS much prefers using the CCD with the extra Cache even though it runs at a slightly slower speed, but that's not to say the other cores wont be used.
