Mission: Flak It.

G'day everyone,

I'm terrible at bombing with the Mosquito, (so perhaps therein lies my answer), but I am unable to hit "victory" triggers for this particular mission.  To be fair I have to go back with guns and cannons and clean up my designated Flak site, but even with a clean sweep of my site - everything destroyed (Particularly all Flak marked by the flare location) I can't seem to get a Mission score (though I get the unit kill score).   So I'm not sure if it's because I am not achieving that with the bombs, or it it also includes the other target sites (which Wingmen barely seem to damage even with direct hits), or there is some other trigger I am not hitting.  Any advice/tips appreciated.

Also on this mission a nearby flight of A-20's manage to always collide with each other as I head towards the coast from Manston - Aerial 2-2 and Aerial 3-3.  This seems to happen with or without time skipping (I've flown this mission around 15 times now lol)

@Grundar When you have released your bombs following the attack run do you receive this message from Ginger? (see image) If yes simply follow Gingers instructions as this means your flight/section as a whole, have completed the overall mission of flak supression sufficiently to allow the A20s to run in on their targets reasonably unmolested.

The collisions sound like a typical AI scenario at present but I will take a look to see if something else is causing the collision. Cheers.

G'day Mate, loving the campaign, very enjoyable.  Nah I don't get that message at all from Ginger, bombs drop and nothing, but good to know that I'm not getting it, I thought I was missing something given in the rest of the campaign you always get that sort of response.  I might run a DCS repair and see if something has messed up in the install usual DCS update shenanigans.  I will report back if it helps.

I know DCS can sometimes muck up profiles as well for your pilot so I might do a repair then create a new profile and see if it works any differently. 

Oh the collisions are definitely DCS AI in it's glory lol, I just mentioned it in case it's relevant.

EDIT: I did a repair of my DCS build, Friendly AI don't cause any damage to their respective targets it seems. I released my bombs hit my flak position and no Ginger message.  I'm guessing this is DCS AI behaviour conflicting, which is kind of difficult to fix when it can change from patch to patch.

Hey mate, thanks for the heads up on this one and I am really pleased you are enjoying the campaign. I have made some adjustments to the mission which should provide a fix to the issues you have encountered, particularly the lack of message when it should appear. I have adjusted the AI bombers too which may stop them colliding with one another. Many thanks.
