collective handle

hello all great sim u got there!!

but I havn't got the shark of the ground because I can't increse the collective power even when pressing Q or A. when I press Q it does a completely different action and A does nothing even thou I set them to increse and decrese the collective.

what can I do?

Controls > Axis Commands

 

Double-check what's in there and if possible supply a screenshot of the settings screen there. Also ensure that the settings you've made are for the game mode you're in ("game" or "simulation").

 

I really, really, advice against using keyboard for collective control, though... :P

OK - First question: Did you delete the default Key-Commands for Q and A when you reassigned?

 

Question 2: Why did you reassign? What was the matter with [NumP+] and [NumP-] ?

Default Inputs are definitely NumP+ and NumP-.

 

Are you saying that you reassigned them to A and Q, or after install your default inputs are A and Q?

 

If you indeed reassigned them, my original question stands: Did you delete the original A and Q entries after reassigning? Could be a conflict there.

 

I would advise that you default all the Inputs by hitting the 'Default' Tab and then see if your collective functions via the NumP keys as above.

Btw Yoav - what Flightstick are you currently using? The majority of later ones have a rudimentary 'Throttle' that can be utilized as your collective - would solve your problems right there :)
