A.F. Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Hi, In flight, the left engine suddenly cuts out and the throttle is completely off. I use Leap Motion to operate the cockpit. When I turn leap off, I don't have the problem. I am sure that I am not accidentally touching a clickable zone in flight. Does anyone else have this problem?

Do you have any other physical peripherals connected? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
Zabuzard Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Can you send a screenshot of the main panel area and the left console when it happened?Should help to identify which switch was accidentally pressed, leading to the engine going out :)
A.F. Posted April 7 Author Posted April 7 Yes, I still have a Virpil collectiv installed. But it doesn't use any axes in the F4. But I will check it again. Yesterday I flew for 4 hours with the left (leap) hand hidden. The engine stayed on. An indication that it may have something to do with Leap Motion. 1
aaronwhite Posted April 14 Posted April 14 One of the easiest ways I've found to check is just to open the controls page and then select the axis that's giving me trouble and start moving everything. Move my head with TrackIR going, move any axis switch on my joystick/throttle and in case you play other games on your PC using a controller, be sure to check those too. Back when I was playing FIFA 23 (still mad at EA for taking that one out of the store...) I would have to play this game of disconnecting my Playstation controller when I was flying in DCS and then when I wanted to play FIFA I would have to unplug everything else to make sure there wasn't any conflicts. 1
A.F. Posted April 17 Author Posted April 17 That's a good tip! I will try it out. But it's very clear that it's because of Leap Motion. Whenever I switch my left hand to “invisible”, I have no problems.
