I am looking for either a .miz or .trk file to use for stress test. I want to use MSI Afterburner to tweak & check for bottle neck (if present). I dont know how to create missions. I also dont want to have to fly out somewhere if I dont have too, I would be happy to spawn into the pit on an airfield if there is alot of activity that will accommodate stress test. I found a couple in the user files that were old and did not work, even when I opened them up in mission editor and saved them before starting them. Recommendations please, thanks.

It is a good ideal to generate the load in DCS.

Questions/Suggestions:

1. terrain must be common, likes Caucasus map because it is the default map comes with DCS.

2. how many AI objects?

3. how many static objects?

4. etc?

Are you trying to stress your CPU, GPU or both? Settings like shadows, AA etc will stress your GPU. Lots of objects will stress your CPU. Any of the "cold start" or "take off" instant actions in the Marianas map will seriously tax both CPU and GPU. The F4 is a good one to try if you have this, or the F-14. Just run each one for a minute and save the tracks then you can repeat them with different settings.

Thanks for the response, I am just looking to make sure I dont have any bottlenecks that I can resolve before convert to VR, just want to make sure I am running at peek beforehand. I dont have the F-4 or F-14, but have a bunch of others.
