Cyborg71 Posted April 19 Posted April 19 I have found that the instant action hot start missions associated with the Germany map and the AH64 create an anomaly. Firstly, the IHADDS acceleration cue and flight path marker seem to be operating at a lower frequency, as if they are at 15 fps. Very laggy. Normally glass smooth. Also the altitude carrot is jittery. Wanders up and down wildly regardless of collective. When accelerating and maneuvering the flight path marker seems to indicate opposite to the cyclic input, producing a decent when pulling back and a climb when pushing forward. Rolling causes a similar issue either a climb to one side or a dive to the other. It gives the appearance of a broken flight model. Visually everything appears normal. Does not happen when cold starting through mission editor. Easy to test. Start the AH64 Germany instant action hot start mission.
Floyd1212 Posted April 19 Posted April 19 We’ve seen this issue in missions on other maps when GPS is not available. I’m not entirely sure how this results in the symptoms you experienced, but forcing “Unrestricted SATNAV” in the ME solves it. I think there is a way you can save/edit the instant action missions to fix it yourself, but sounds like ED needs to address it in a future patch.
Cyborg71 Posted April 19 Author Posted April 19 Thanks for responding Floyd1212. I was worried it was something I was doing. Happy Easter

It probably should, but for the AH-64 it (presently) doesn't. The only way to get proper INU functionality is to set the mission date sometime after 1995; otherwise, it behaves as if it is constantly drifting at an incredible rate, giving stuttery indications on the HMD, FLT page, lots of drift on the TSD, etc. 1
Kutscha Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Hi… this would be a very weird thing if a simualtion is regarding this bit not all the other things worth to be simulated. but…wouldnt supprise me o the other hand. maybe, there is less satellite coverage if they simulated the 80s that good. :))) i felt the Apache hovering very sliggy, like someone kicking your stick
