Nato Training Area Bergen Hohne

I would like to suggest that the team look into this area. This is is MAIN training area for NATO, was the home base of the British Army on the Rhine (Niedersachesen Kazerne [Black square bottom right]) and as it is right now, does not reflect how it was or is. This area is still in use, and i can promise you, we dont have two major facitities in the middle of the firing area (large black squares middel and top left).
Everything from infantry upto full scale mech company sized life fire exercises with artillery and air support take place here since the German army back in the 30's setup this training area.
To the south, you also have the bergen belsen concentration camp where Anne Frank sadly passed away just before the camp was liberated.

I think an area with an important role in the cold war era and as such, maybe it deserves some attention as the team continues work on this amazing map!.

Absolutely. This area is the single BIGGEST thing I would change. There certainly aren't the buildings etc and bombing targets. It was for practising tanks and artillery in open spaces. 

 

It's such a central place to all the armies in Northern Germany, it really needs to be done right. And the Kaserne at Hohne has been a fixture since the Wehrmacht, then the Canadians, then the Brits.
