Cold war Germany and big part of "Bayern" is missing? Why?

The topic is DCS Cold War Germany, may i ask you why a huge part of Bavaria is missing?

 

Only a question, no criticism

Is it too much work or is the map becoming too large if Bayern is included?

 

It´s nice that you expand to the east and west, but for me it is missing something if a huge part of Bayern is not part of Germany.

This is only my opinion.

 

Its a great scenery with all the hills and lakes.

Do you plan to make another add on where you expand to the south?

As someone who was stationed in Bayern from 86' to 89', I too would love to see this. However, I think the main reason that it was not included is that it wasn't tactically significant to the likely soviet attack scenarios. The invasion wasn't coming through Austria. You could make the argument about the former Czechoslovakia, I guess.  I hope they do expand the map to include this, but I can completely understand why they initially left it out.
