Gabreil Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Hi All, I've got the mod installed for English labels. I can get it working ok. But, i cant make it persistant. If i change to English under special - After restarting it defaults back to default. Any suggestions on how to make it persistant please?
Gabreil Posted May 6 Author Posted May 6 A lot of views but no answers as yet. Could someone who does fly the Gazelle confirm if they make the selection to english that it remains peristant after DCS has been restarted? If i can confirm that, then i'll know if i need to figure out whats wrong my end or just live with it!!

Gabreil Posted May 7 Author Posted May 7 I finally figured it out. When changes are made - they are saved in the options.lua (Saved Games\DCS\Config). I forgot that i am using Baileys app to run different DCS.exe files which i use for when at the PC and connecting remotely - each of which have a different options.lua associated. So, when i was making changes in DCS, they were not saving.. A quick edit of the option.lua for the .exe files and all working now. @Gladius I'm using this mod to convert to english cockpit https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1956481/ 1
XpRiV Posted May 7 Posted May 7 (edited) Im sure you can convert to english cockpit in the special settings without the use of a mod Edited May 7 by XpRiV ASUS TUF Gaming B760M PLUS WiFi - i7-14700KF - Zotac RTX 4080 Super - 64GB DDR5 - 4TB M.2 SSD - Thrustmaster Warthog - Samsung G5
Gladius Posted May 7 Posted May 7 vor 6 Stunden schrieb XpRiV: Ich bin sicher, dass Sie in den speziellen Einstellungen ohne Verwendung eines Mods auf ein englisches Cockpit umstellen können I don't see any other settings for this. The Gazelle's original cockpit language is French, as is the case with the Mirage 2000C. I haven't really noticed it until now, as I have some knowledge of French. XpRiV Posted May 8 Posted May 8 I'll confirm tonight when I'm at my home PC, but mine is set to English in the special settings menu and I am pretty sure I haven't got any mods installed for the Gazelle. I might be mistaken though ASUS TUF Gaming B760M PLUS WiFi - i7-14700KF - Zotac RTX 4080 Super - 64GB DDR5 - 4TB M.2 SSD - Thrustmaster Warthog - Samsung G5
Volator Posted May 8 Posted May 8 I just checked, I don't have any options for an English cockpit without any mods. Just default. 1./JG71 "Richthofen" - Seven Eleven
Gabreil Posted May 8 Author Posted May 8 To be fair, once you learn the cockpit.. which with its simpisity is quite quick, the english labels are not really needed. Helpful for a couple of days when learning.
