Hector45 Posted yesterday at 03:14 AM Posted yesterday at 03:14 AM (edited) Hi guys, I cannot seems to figure out the cause of a massive FPS drop that I get in multiplayer. Seems to be most prevalent on the Syria map or the Cold War Germany map. I have not been able to narrow down a specific event that happens but when I spawn into a jet everything is fine, FPS in the hundreds, then somewhere along the lines it will tank down to the 40's and sometimes even the teens! One thing that seems to make it manifest (not consistently) is going from F10 map, back to jet, or spawning into a new aircraft. FPS counter shows that it is always GPU bound. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. dcs.log.old DxDiag.txt dcs.log Edited yesterday at 03:15 AM by Hector45 Modules: F-14A/B | F-15C | F-16C | F/A-18C | SU-33 | Spitfire Mk IX | AH-64D | UH-1 | Super Carrier | Combined Arms | Persian Gulf | Syria | NTTR Setup: VKB Gunfighter Mk.III F-14 CE HOTAS | VKB S-TECS Modern Throttle | MFG Crosswind V3 | Custom switch panel | Tek Creations F14 Display Panel | Custom F14 Left Vertical Console | Custom IR Tracker | Custom butt kicker PC: i7 12700K | 64GB G-Skill DDR5 6000MHz | EVGA GeForce RTX 3080Ti FTW3 | DCS dedicated 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD | 3440x1440 144hz 34" ultrawide
SharpeXB Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago I’ve seen it recommended to use Windows 11 with the Intel hybrid CPUs (Gen 12-14) as it utilizes the cores better. If you post this over in the Bugs/ Performance section I’m sure someone can look at these logs and such. i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5
