Navigation Aid Errors (ILS, TACAN, VOR, NDB)

I started noticing that not all of the ILS worked on each map. So I started with ILS and grew the list into TACAN, VOR, and NDB's. Since navigation is a huge part of aviation and the simulation I wanted to let you guys know - only 50% of the ILS are working, among a few other things. I haven't flown the new Germany map yet to check all of those as this list took several months to make. I will update this list as I fly more. Hope this is well received, my aim here is to bring awareness that not all of the navigation aids are working.

 

I have also noticed that some of the taxiways are labeled differently that the kneeboards in the Caucasus map. I will make another post with pictures to show what I mean in a different post.

DCS TACAN and ILS List.txt

Just to let you know, in DCS, only the ILS for the active runway is turned on. The one for the inactive one should be turned off, which might explain your ~50% success rate. 

Also it needs like about 5 knots at least to force a specific runway to get active.

Well, f*@k me..... I tested this at KOB on Caucasus and the wind direction does determine whether or not a ILS is working or not... wish I had known this 4 months ago haha. Oh well, it was fun to fly. I know that some are bad though (as annotated on the list) because they work up until about 10 NM out then stop all together or they drop to the ground instantly. So hoping they can fix those. I'll have to change the wind direction and test all of the others.
