adding Logbook squadrons

I added a 128x128 px png in \Saved Games\DCS\MissionEditor\data\images\Countries\Germany\Troops and a related line into the \Saved Games\DCS\Scripts\database\troops\Germany.lua but it just won't show up.
Doesn't adding squadrons for the logbook work (anymore)?
