Dachs Posted May 17 Posted May 17 (edited) Is there supposed to be fuel available at Sierra Oscar ? If not, I need to take on a whole lot more fuel at Sierra Mike! When I get to lifting the second team of manpads, I'm pretty much running on fumes with the default fuel load from mission start.. I tried refueling at the Sierra Oscar landing site and a couple of different spots around camp, but no luck, and no reply from Ground crew. I even tried shutting down and opening the doors, to rule out it was some radio setting messing it up. Low-Level-Heaven Posted May 18 Posted May 18 @Dachs There should be fuel available at the helipad. But I will check that as soon as possible and circle back with the information. 1
CHPL Posted May 19 Posted May 19 @Dachs Tested. Fuel is available at Siera Oscar at the marked Landinzone in the main camp. The exact location where you pick up the troops for Transport. Also, at your first landing spot, the correct place is hard to find because it is not marked with tiers or flags. 1 Always happy landings ;)
Dachs Posted May 21 Author Posted May 21 That is strange My inverter was shot up, hence why I tried shutting down and opening the doors, before yelling at the ground crew. I wonder if that could be the culprit anyway ? Anyway, I'm gonna give it another go in couple of days, thanks for checking it out. Dachs Posted May 29 Author Posted May 29 Ok, tried it again, and its just not working for me. No reply from Ground crew, when landed at Sierra Oscar LZ. Also, took the first Stinger team to the observation tower, and landed behind the bunker, but then nothing, they didn't get out. After that, the mission seemed to kind of die. No more radio transmissions. Low res VR screenshot from the LZ attached. System: Asus z270 A Prime, Intel i7-7700K 4.8GHz, 32GB DDR4, RTX2080, Samsung 500GB 850 EVO SSD. CHPL Posted May 31 Posted May 31 (edited) You are right on the spot. Did you change your Radioselect switch to Ground? I will review the complete mission over the weekend. Edited May 31 by CHPL Always happy landings ;)

Today I flew it again, and managed to take on extra fuel from the starting point in Sierra Mike, using INT, with rotors turning. All working as expected down there. However, at Sierra Oscar, the Stinger guy didn't get onboard, when I landed at the base, after unloading the guys brought from Sierra Mike, at the top. And then the mission ground to a halt, it seemed. And, still unable to get any response from Ground crew at Sierra Oscar, so no refueling. This was all after applying hotfix 2.9.16.10973 from 30. CHPL Posted yesterday at 04:23 PM Posted yesterday at 04:23 PM @Dachs Hello, and sorry for the delay in responding. I have now checked the mission several times, and all triggers are working perfectly. All infantry units appear and board. The only slight problem I could find is that if you land on the mountain top, not behind the bunkers, but a little too far to the side, the units do not disembark, and you have to move the aircraft. In my tests, I still had fuel on board for 20 minutes at the end of the mission. (See photo, made after embarking the 3. Group about 5 minutes before the end of the Mission.) As for the question of refueling, I must admit that I was at a loss for a long time, because it should work and does in simple tests, but not during the mission. Finally, however, I had a moment of clarity and can tell you why it doesn't work in the mission. The station is under attack, and enemy units are nearby. In this case, DCS does not allow refueling or reloading. Unfortunately, it took me a while to figure this out. If you continue to experience problems with the mission or have any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me directly via the LLH Discord, and we will work together to find a solution. Always happy landings ;)
