"Open DTC" button on Mission briefing screen

For some reason I can't load the DTC interface using the "Open DTC" button on the mission briefing screen. Using the ground crew Comm menu does work, however. What are the requirements for using the "Open DTC"button?

I have the exact same problem. since the beginning. So far, it's only been possible through the Crew Chief function menu. In the briefing window, the button is grayed out and labeled "$Open DTC". any help?

Do you mean the DTC GUI does not load, or you can't load a profile in the GUI? If you open the DTC GUI, press on the white FILE text on the top right just above the drop down box. It does not look like a button. When you press it, 3 selections appear, Import, Export, Load Defaults.

That "Open DTC" button on the mission briefing screen is a really useful addition. It makes loading and managing data much smoother before jumping into the mission.

For some reason I can’t get that to work. No response when I press that button. It shows as “$Open DTC” Help Please?! Do I need to access thru mission editor to get this?

Did I understand incorrectly or we can only IMPORT DTCs which are already loaded into the mission?

If so, that is not very useful.

What would be usefull would be to be able to import a DTC from the file system, from the Open DTC button, prior to starting a mission, and, even better, from the cockipt itself.

This last options would allow us to change DTCs in-flight.
