JaBoG32_Prinzartus Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Looks like no one can connect to my server?! Whenever I host, I stay alone  Only or twice I got people on my server?! I am hosting on Windows 7 64 RC. I dunno what might be configured wrong. Router settings should be okay, i guess?! Did you guys ever tried to connect to my server? What error did you get? Did you see my server at all? I have no idea what is going on. Panzertard Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 I've seen that problems sometimes with custom missions. Try a stock mission and invite someone to test. And sometimes it takes a bit of time before you appear in the Server-list where others can find you. Plus - you need to be sure that port 10307 and 10308 is open (TCP + UDP). 159th_Viper Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 As of time of this post, I have the JaBoG server mission running for 177 hours on my Multiplayer GUI - might that be an issue? Panzertard Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Oh, so there might be a stuck process on his computer - maybe a reboot required. And/or a stuck listing on the DCS-master browser (server list). JaBoG32_Prinzartus Posted August 1, 2009 Author Posted August 1, 2009 (edited) As of time of this post, I have the JaBoG server mission running for 177 hours on my Multiplayer GUI - might that be an issue? I am talkinng about my private server. Not the official JaBoG32 Public one. Port 10308 AND 10307?! Mhmm, my router only forwarded 10308 only. Changing set up, will check! TNX Hop on to "JaBoG32_Prinzartus" if you see the SRVR, so I know it works. Panzertard Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Yes, I noticed 10307 UDP being used against the master-browser when I started hosting. Used a packetsniffer and detected that one. Opened it (TCP+UDP), and voila - hosting worked for me as well. :) The mind is like a parachute. It only works when it's open | The important thing is not to stop questioning
159th_Viper Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Hop on to "JaBoG32_Prinzartus" if you see the SRVR, so I know it works. Apart from the fact that the Mission was paused, joined server, selected airframe and entered cockpit with no issues. Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career?
