portedbuckle Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Hey Guys, I just got DCS Black Shark after much drooling on my last trip at work. I fired it up, TrackIR worked just great but I had the weirdest trim problem. Flying airplanes for a living, I'm pretty sure I know what the trim is supposed to do (relieve control forces and have the FFB stick stay in the place where the trim button is released); however, my trim acts like gyroscopic precession is playing with the stick... In other words, I push forward to start the helicopter moving forward, press and release the trim button and the trim force is deflected to the right. If I trim backward, the stick goes to the left. If i trim Left it goes forward, if I trim Right it goes backward. Its very odd and impossible to fly like this! I have tried swap axes in the game and manually editing some of the config files I could find, but no luck. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. I am running Vista 64-bit. Thanks! Adam
portedbuckle Posted August 6, 2009 Author Posted August 6, 2009 Nevermind. For some reason it seems to have fixed itself? :dunno:

JG14_Smil Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 You may have to self calibrate the stick after each system boot up. Run it to it's limits the first time you start your sim.
