Seeking advice on Winwing Up Front Controllers

I am in the market for an UFC and am seeking the advice of all Winwing UFC/ICP users in this forum. At present I am only able to get either one and I fly an equal amount of F16s and F18s.

I am seeking the advice from seasoned Winwing users whether you would prefer to use a F18 UFC on a F16 or would you rather use a F16 ICP  on the F18. I am on the fence as to what to get first, to use on both planes equally whilst waiting to purchase the other. Of course, if I spent more time on either one of those I planes, I would gravitate to getting that corresponding UFC/ICP.  But I am kind of switching back and forth on weekly basis.

FYI I do not have a home cockpit, just a desk and use the Warthog Hotas, 2 x monitors, that being a larger widescreen up top and a smaller one below for the 2D cockpit and Thrustmaster Cougar MFDs.

The pluses I see for the F16 ICP is the inclusion of the DED display and  for the F18 UFC , more buttons and the inclusion of the extra buttons up the top of the UFC.

Any advice is much appreciated.

I have both, but i started with the UFC, because it was what was available, i managed to use it on nearly every aircraft/helo i have... I play in VR so i don't use the displays on either if i could only afford one, it would likely come down to what i was flying most frequently, today that would be the F-16 ergo ICP 12 months ago that was the F/A-18

Thanks , I might do that and pick a plane for awhile and go with that controller and get that other later.

certainlywith the UFC you can make it work for the F-16 ... to be fair i haven't tried it the  otherway around
