Mission editor presets

Hi,

In the mission editor could it be possible to add preset nations corresponding to the specific map not only ww2, cold war or modern but :

- existing theaters nations presets of the map (i.e Afghanistan theater the nations covered in the map as pakistan, afghanistan, iran etc...) so we can choose directly the nations included.

 

- personnalised nations presets we can save then the list modern, ww2, cold war etc is completed by my own nations preset I saved with my own designated name.

 

- otherwise a simple saved function  I choose my nations blue/neutral/red then I saved them with a name of my choice and ir can be loaded as I want to edit a new mission.

You can do this:

Open ME

Set nations

Save mission

Yes I know but i want these presets to be saved to use them back when changing theater and go back to another theater. If i use afghanistan map i have to do like you describe the process. Then if i create and edit a germany map i have to delete the afghan nations and put the germany s ones. If i go back to afghanistan map i have to delete the germany s and recreate the process for afghan. It could be usefull if the saves i made before can be automatically loaded with the menu where you find modern era, cold war etc....

The valid question here is why we are only allowed to save one custom preset still.

Of course there are workaround and of course we can at last alter the coalitions while editing, but it is still a rather simple wish.

[Cue the people explaining to me how that is totally an extensive task to allow more text files to be added to the already existing list]
