Hydraulic hand pump animation cycle looks a bit strange

Hi

wanted to report the hydraulic hand pump animation loop looks a bit weird.

Current situation:

Clicking the handle or using the key bind results in the following movement

Starting from center to forward --> full backward --> center --> backward again --> full forward --> center stop.

Going from rear position to center and back to rear to than move full forward is not a flow you want while pumping. You want to have the full movement from one to the other stop.

Expected:

Using such a handle the normal operation of two whole cycles starting end ending in center position should be:

Starting from center to full forward --> full backward --> full forward --> center stop.

or even just one cycle:

Starting from center to full forward --> full backward --> center.

I agree it looks quite unnatural and jarring almost, But I haven't checked to see if that was how they were used- 

If any docs specify how the pump functions or was used it would help
