Endline Posted June 25 Posted June 25 (edited) After firing ordinance in a hover, I have to push the cyclic down constantly throughout the flight back so that the nose won't pitch up 30-40 degrees and roll slightly to the left. Force trim doesn't help. Neither does attitude/altitude hold. I know that the nose going up may be normal, up to a point, but why doesn't force trim work? It's like I'm not even setting it. I have no issues before firing, but once that's done flying back in order to land becomes a chore. Edited June 25 by Endline

Then quickly exit the mission and click the button "Save Track". Give the file a relevant name and just drag it in here. Then someone can easily check if you are doing something wrong, or it could be something with your setup. You have any axis conflicts by chance?Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
Solution Floyd1212 Posted June 25 Solution Posted June 25 Sounds like a control bind issue. Maybe your trigger button is setup as a modifier in conjunction with some other axis? Or double-bound with Force Trim Release? Does this happen when you give George permission to fire, or only when you fire the weapon yourself? Like MAXsenna said, capture the event in a short track file and post it here. 1
Endline Posted June 26 Author Posted June 26 I created a small mission in the ME and I can't reproduce it. I don't get what's going on. Maybe there's something wrong with these particular missions I am playing. Anyway, thanks to both of you for your help.
Ignition Posted June 28 Posted June 28 Sometimes what happens is you may trim the aircraft but don't completely center the stick after, maybe by a millimeter, and you think it is trimmed. It happened to me during a mission when I was under fire and crashed a few moments later because I had problems with the trim.
