Talisman_VR Posted Thursday at 08:45 PM Posted Thursday at 08:45 PM I recently purchased a new PC and today I downloaded DCS World as a fresh installation. But why have 2 versions been downloaded to my PC? For some reason I now have a copy of DCS World and also a second copy named DCS World MT? I thought there was just one version of DCS World now? Can I delete the DCS World MT copy? Some guidance regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in anticipation and happy landings, Talisman
sleighzy Posted Friday at 06:27 AM Posted Friday at 06:27 AM (edited) There is only one version. I'm assuming you're meaning you have two shortcuts, they're not actually two different downloads/installs. The "DCS World MT" shortcut just points to the DCS\bin-mt folder v.s the DCS\bin folder which the DCS World shortcut points to. The bin-mt folder will be removed in the future. You can ignore that MT shortcut. Edited Friday at 06:28 AM by sleighzy 3 1 AMD 7800x3D, 4080Super, 64Gb DDR5 RAM, 4Tb NVMe M.2, Quest 2
