Talisman_VR Posted June 26 Posted June 26 I recently purchased a new PC and today I downloaded DCS World as a fresh installation. But why have 2 versions been downloaded to my PC? For some reason I now have a copy of DCS World and also a second copy named DCS World MT? I thought there was just one version of DCS World now? Can I delete the DCS World MT copy? Some guidance regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in anticipation and happy landings, Talisman
sleighzy Posted June 27 Posted June 27 (edited) There is only one version. I'm assuming you're meaning you have two shortcuts, they're not actually two different downloads/installs. The "DCS World MT" shortcut just points to the DCS\bin-mt folder v.s the DCS\bin folder which the DCS World shortcut points to. The bin-mt folder will be removed in the future. You can ignore that MT shortcut. Edited June 27 by sleighzy 3 1 AMD 7800x3D, 4080Super, 64Gb DDR5 RAM, 4Tb NVMe M.2, Quest 2
