chardly38 Posted July 4 Posted July 4 I have a ROG Strix Z590-E with two 1T M.2s. My DCS drive is now full and Im getting a 2T M.2 Samsung 990 to replace it. Is there an easy way to tell which M.2 is my windows (C) and the other my DCS (E) located on my motherboard or must I just remove one and see if I get lucky. Rudel_chw Posted July 4 Posted July 4 Once you find which drive is which, you can use an adapter like this: https://www.amazon.com/-/es/Carcasa-M-2-Adaptador-externo-compatible/dp/B08G14NBCS/ref=sr_1_5?__mk_es_US=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&crid=2NEX6MSQQTCWT&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.d6x27WSU-J6jtpdkcQpfdDM8W2B-_vZaUOsAsWX0KW4upN7Z8TyZnQ09xFMjs7cp7SC1fyHJ8RCaI_aecDpKH7MmUwk4fAbhPjLN314AVTNhTMPk6FYXJDNW4k9P3mSMJkj8ZIA2mNVJuxpj6bUglsnjBoJjRANobsGqUrUjFMFUewwPkmSMNb00NpUgy72BDQIYfmro3w7NzCaGIBY7Ol9MVY61yavZ3WAS2y7QajE.tpK8D_Loao0iPjLNZTacU2FkFtFJxCex5u3zxqFRGIA&dib_tag=se&keywords=M2+drive+external+enclosure&qid=1751595019&sprefix=m2+drive+external+enclosure%2Caps%2C236&sr=8-5 to connect all three drives at the same time, so that you can copy your dcs onto the new drive with no need to re-download for a reinstall. 1 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
