Looking for wingmen (from GTM+2)

Hi everyone,

I’m based in Germany and mainly fly the F-16 atm and looking for others to team up with. I like to fly more or less realistically, but I don’t have the time for the full commitment to join a VFS at the moment. I’m always happy to share what I know about the F-16 (or F/A-18 or A-10C), and I’m keen to learn new things too.

I actually do not really have a mission preference. In general I like BFM/BVR as well as the A2G stuff.

You mentioned flying the F-16 primarily. I am curious what drew you to that platform over the F/A-18 or A-10C, since you seem to have experience with all three? Also, are you experimenting with any specific loadouts or tactics lately that you’ve found especially effective or fun?

Every now and then and also on the weekends when I am at home, and you? Yeah with that small timezone difference we should be able to find a window I think.

I've nothing against the hornet or the A10, but I flew them quite a lot lately and just wanted to focus on the viper again. A strong point imo is the good BVR capability because of the great thrust/weight ratio. You can be at 38,000 feet and Mach 1.3+ while a hornet would still be significantly lower and in the transsonic area. This makes the Aim120s just ultra deadly and I love it.

What I do the most at the moment besides BVR is playing around with Harms and the HAD System of the F-16. I generally like that role, but when it comes to a2g I don't really have a huge preference.

The only thing I'm not doing really often is deploying these ultra long range weapons of the hornet (AGM-84 etc...).

Sounds great. I don't have the F15 and currently only the Syria, Persian Gulf and Germany maps installed, but I also have the super carrier and diving deeper into naval ops with the hornet is also still on my bucket list. 7 hours diffenrence sounds tough to manage, but probably not impossible. Sometimes on the weekends I also fly at night and also on american servers, for example growling sidewinder or hoggit.

I think the easiest way would be probably If I create a discord channel or something like that and just post the invite here... maybe after work today I will find time for that, if not then definitely tomorrow.
