Pappy_Gunn Posted Tuesday at 10:13 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:13 PM Many of the needles on the instrument panels are all over the place. RPM, manifold. Most of the other warbirds (like the P-47, Spit and P-51)have steady needles, allowing you to set RPM and manifold to a set value. F4U? Sure, there is a bit of vibration, but this feels like a prop blade has a foot missing or the engine is missing a few cylinders. Well you'll just have to guess. I doubt very much it was this bad in real life.
Rudel_chw Posted Tuesday at 10:24 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:24 PM I'm sure this will be tuned by the developers, as this is an early access bird where the development has not yet been finished. PL_Harpoon Posted Thursday at 08:09 PM Posted Thursday at 08:09 PM (edited) Here you can just about see the MAP gauge in the bottom right. It looks very similar to what we have in DCS (meaning it's probably not a modern gauge) and doesn't shake at all. Also, this is how much shaking I would expect from a period instrument: Notice that not only it's very small but it also disappears as soon as the engine reaches 1000 RPM.
