Hi Guys,

This might help or might not but one thing I do like is the new Combined Mouse mode with view control and clicking enable thing now one thing I do use alot is my mouse wheel for turning dials etc but with this new MOD it had changed my wheel to a ZOOM in/out mode so I had a look in the mouse setup (see pic) and took the mouse command from the Camera Zoom view and left it blank. I now have full mouse viewing control along with clicking switches and turning up/down dials without having to change the mouse mode. Hope this might help. Just in case some one might ask yes I do have TRACKIR but I have some issues with that when panning around during the startup procedure, but I use that when up in the air. Timm

I prefer to switch off cockpit view mouse for good and did this in view.lua (catalogue \Ka-50\Config\View) changing "CockpitMouse = true --false" line to "CockpitMouse = false --false". I can only operate mouse in outside views now.

For those that don't know - from default view (mouselook, wheel zoom) hit Alt+C twice to get "wheel turns dials" & once more to get mouse look & wheel zoom back (in between is mouse look, no cursor) .

Cheers.

Hi Poko,

From quote above I pressume you just use for panning views - YES?

I panning external I use a small track ball devise which is great when I want to get a quick view. Timm

Hi guys!

Im new here, and i have a small question. The clickable cockpit mode is awsome and essential for me. My only problem is that the 2 modes arent exactly what i would need. Is there any way to change the 3rd clickable cockpit mode in which you can move the cursor, but you also move the view while moving the cursor in the following manner:

I want the click cursor to be always centered on the screen and let the view move with the mouse. So i just want to disable that dead zone thing that lets the cursor move on screen while im also moving the view with the mouse.

No Timm. I've got TIR4. Many times I check the scoreboards in MP. Sometimes after switching the score window off my mouse cursor dissapeared. I had to press ALT+C twice. To not do this I decided to switched off mouselook in cockpit view permanently and it helped.

Maybe if you had another go at explaining what exactly it is that you're after. I cannot seem to grasp your first explanation :)

What I mean is, with the 3rd option, the cursor is in the middle of the screen by default.......by movin' the view about the cursor remains centered in any event. You lose me here:

then its maybe a uniqe problem at me

the cursor + cockpit clicking mode at me works like this:

I can see the cursor on the cockpit screen. If i move the mouse, the cursor moves, but also the view moves. So there is a kind of floating zone where the cursor can move freely on screen while my mouse imput also affects the view. So for example if i see a part of the cockpit and i want to click a button which is out of screen on the left. I can move my mouse cursor on the left side of the screen while the view pans left until i see the button. If i want to focus on the button by centering it and zooming on it with my mouse wheel i need to pan with my mouse on the left side more. And when the button is in the center of my screen, and i want to click it -> i move my mouse cursor to the right in the center of the screen -> then the view moves away a bit to the right and the button will be at the right side of the screen. This is pretty annoying.

I uploaded a video to show you how it works at me. Is it the same at you, or your cursor remains in the center of the screen while moving the mouse?
