Logan54 Posted August 9 Posted August 9 I m not a pro, but seems like Super Hornet have about 25-30 seconds for being inverted, but ingame Hornet can do it unlimited right? 2
BarTzi Posted August 10 Posted August 10 It's not unlimited, just takes a really long time to get the same effect. Not sure if it's realistic or if it used to be like that.

Dragon1-1 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago IRL, the negative G limitations usually concern the engine lubrication system. Engine oil will not flow where it's supposed to, but this only becomes an issue after a while. There's probably a considerable engineering margin involved, AFAIK this is a fairly common limitation, and exceeding it should lead to engine trouble. I don't think it's simulated, though. 1
OmasRachE Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I think the DCS Hornets engine quits after a while due to fuel flow issues. I believe that because a friend of mine proved, that while refueling invertet he can indeed fly inverted for an unlimmited preriod of time.
