Zadren Posted Sunday at 12:42 PM Posted Sunday at 12:42 PM Hiya. Pimax did a recent update to their software that enables upscaling or sharpening natively. The settings in DCS also have options for upscaling and sharpening. Which one should I use? Or should I match both? Cheers.
Phantom711 Posted Sunday at 02:39 PM Posted Sunday at 02:39 PM Use one or the other. Not both. It doesn‘t break anything, I guess, but it might add up onto one another which might not be the desired effect. 1 1 vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Join the vCVW-17 Discord.

I'm still trying to stop feeling dizzy from trying it. It's like suddenly being plunged into a bowl of jelly.
j9murphy Posted Tuesday at 06:41 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:41 PM In general, if a game supports DLSS you should use that.. it should be better than upscaling with FSR or NIS, but you can check it out and see which you prefer. You can still apply sharpening though. If a game does not support DLSS then FSR or NIS is the only option. 2
Zadren Posted 17 hours ago Author Posted 17 hours ago Thank you. DCS also does sharpening at the same time as DLSS. How does that play with sharpening on Pimax? I'm still trying to get the best out of the Crystal Light.

I havnt experimented with that yet, but from what I have seen from others that have - they seem to prefer doing the sharpening in piplay now.
