AI wingman apache attacks random targets in track, doing do damage, but not attacking what it actually attacked in the mission

in the track my wingman Apache attacks all kinda odd stuff, firing rockets, or firing hundreds of 30mm at enemies doing to damage. 

It does not attack any of the units it attacked in the mission, those just fall over dead at the correct time, with no weapons used on them
