eror85 Posted August 23 Posted August 23 (edited) I would like to report a bug. I read in an early changelog that this issue is fixed, but i have encountered this a lot of time. So, i noticed, that when i trying to rotate a button, its very laggy and stutters. When i switched to external view and rotating the camera WITH mouse the fps drops to 0 until i move my mouse. When i stop moving the mouse the fps jump to normal. I tried everything, but this issue sometime gone, when i re-start the whole game... sometimes everything works perfectly. Just for sure, i tried with older and a newest graphics driver (unistalled with DDU). Tried in windowed / fullscreen. After i found a topic, that mentioned such behaivor i tried to switching my mouse polling rate. When i drop to 500hz, and when this issue occured, the fps not dropped to 0, but the game was very stuttering. For a while, i droped the polling rate to 250hz, and i do not encounter this issue... at least until this very moment. I hope that this bug is addressed again. Sorry for my bad english, i tried my best... i just wanted to help others with this report. Edited August 23 by eror85
eror85 Posted September 3 Author Posted September 3 I would like to add some new information. Unfortunately i have to replace my previous mouse (it was a steelseries rival 3, and its only working with 250Hz, so with 500hz its stutters). I brought a razer deathadder v3... and in synapse i left mouse polling rate at 1000 hz... just in casem and you know, why not. Everything just working fine, and i tested it for i dont know... 4 days now. It seems not every type of mouses suffer with this issue.

Mainstay Posted October 8 Posted October 8 (edited) I have the same issue... My cursor was causing extreme lag ingame and when i stopped touching my mouse and the cursor disappeared everything is fine. My report rate was set to 1000 from the range i have (1000/500/250/125), only after setting it to 125 DCS didnt start to flip out and had massive stutters and FPS drops. Why cant DCS handle the higher report rates of the mouse? Mine is a Logitech G203 and i had this mouse for ages so its not the mouse (i used multiple of the same model)... Besides DCS seems to be the only problem and i only had this since last 2 patches. Edited October 8 by Mainstay
The_Nephilim Posted October 10 Posted October 10 Well I had bought a Razer Basilisk mouse and do not suffer this issue. I thought I would but for some wierd reason I can set it too 125,500 or 1000hz and it works just fine with no lag. I thought for sure the mouse polling rate was the cause for my minimul spikes ingame but it was not.. maybe the devs can get to the bottom of this.. I can post a log file if needed Intel Ultra 265K 5.5GHZ / Gigabyte Z890 Aorus Elite / MSI 4070Ti Ventus 12GB / SoundBlaster Z SoundCard / Corsair Vengance 64GB Ram / HP Reverb G2 / Samsung 980 Pro 2TB Games / Crucial 512GB M.2 Win 11 Pro 21H2 / ButtKicker Gamer / CoolerMaster TD500 Mesh V2 PC Case
