Draken35 Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago My wingman and I had been flying a particular mission for the last couple of weeks in my dedicated server. Until yesterday we both had excellent performances. Today, however, with no changes to my PC (DCS client), the mission or the dedicate server , my performance tanked while my wingman's remained unchanged... My dedicated server is in my LAN, 1ms ping, my wingman connects from the outside of my LAN. My SP performance is excellent but when I connect to any mission in my server , I get a slide show. I'm at a lost at the moment on how to approach the situation since I don't want to have a kneejerk reaction and changes configurations anywhere but ran out if ideas on how to troubleshot. Performance drop is apparent right at the start, in the join coalition screen, regardless of the complexity of the mission... Both machines were rebooted a couple of times each... I don't see any connectivity issue in my LAN... No windows update in the client or server, no driver changes and no AV software changes either. So, please, if you have an idea on what to look at, share it...

Draken35 Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago So... Went ahead and did a sanity check before making changes and found that I was able to reproduce the issue in 2D and SP, which seems to indicate that it is something in my client PC. Then I deleted the fxo and metashaders2 folders to no effect. Decided to double check everything before reverting versions (since it was working fine after the last update). First, I turned the PC off and booted again to go into the BIOS (PC is turned off every night). Nothing changed there as expected, but "saved" and exited the BIOS anyway. Tested DCS again and problem went away... So, I'm scratching my head a little bit...
