TM+Warthog stick on winwing joystick Desk Mount2 - can i saw mounting plate in half?

Is anybody using Winwing Joystick Desk Mount2 with Profile Bar 1 together with tm warthog stick?

Can it be used along with stick extension 12 cm?

Does anybody know if is it safe to cutoff MJX plate - i found it a bit too long...https://winwingsim.com/view/goods-details.html?id=1125. It is made of high-pressure precision-cast aluminum alloy and i don't know if i can use metal saw to cut it around half of it's length?

Metal saws are capable of cutting metals harder than aluminium, even if it's an aluminium alloy

Whether it's safe? meh, put on a mask if the dust worries you, I'd sooner tell you to take care of any burrs and file off rough edges, because cut aluminum can be razor sharp
