DLEGION Posted yesterday at 05:28 PM Posted yesterday at 05:28 PM Hello, i tried too many times now (7 or 8 ,i lost count), and every time the last hangar coordinates seems incorrect or there is another problem... because JSOW always hit the same spot on the taxiway. i link a video. if i do something wrong, please explain EXACTLY how do that. i use "precise" coordinates... launch with a wide margin of range...dont know whats wrong with the last (the first 3 works good). i'm sure you created this mission with the best ideas in mind, but for a player its a pain... start-up the plane is long boring (not even stored heading position?), a long boring flight... then bombing and waiting... but at least are 3 hits... then the last one always missing... i really can't play another time and fail it. thanks.
Badger633 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago (edited) @DLEGION Firstly you will appreciate that this mission was made about four years ago and has been flown by thousands of pilots without a problem. So if it is not working correctly then it is either a new bug or something you are doing. Firstly not sure what you mean by heading not stored. If you mean to create the shorter alignment process then that is available in this mission if you press the correct button on the HSI at the correct time. If this is not it please clarify. The first targets were given you via way points unlike the last which you have to enter the coordinates yourself. So make sure you are using the correct precise coordinate format. This video of this actual mission shows you how. Make sure you do exactly the same. Also below is a complete fly through of the mission by Flying Kenny. Hope this helps, if your still stuck send me your track so I can check things out. EDIT: Just saw your video on a bigger screen. Looks like you are not using the correct coordinate format. Follow the video I have sent you above. This is all explained in the brief. Extract below. "When entering 'Precision Coordinates' ensure they have been selected on the HSI / Data page. Button along bottom row. You will also need to select the correct entry format. This will be Degrees / Minutes / Seconds / Decimal Seconds. 00/00/00.00 The format can be selected on the HSI / Data /A/C page LATLN button which is bottom right." DLEGION Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago confirmed, using "sec" worked and JSOW hit the hangar at first try. yeah, good this missions are still working after many years. by the way have to start the plane every time is quite boring, at least for me. thanks, bye !
Badger633 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago @DLEGION You are aware there is an AutoStart facility. 90% of pilots insist on a cold starts. You have the option. 1 F/A-18C Campaigns : The Serpent’s Head / The Serpent’s Head 2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5.0Ghz / Gigabyte 2080ti water force extreme / 32 Gb RAM Corsair Dominator Platinum 3600 / 2Tb Samsung 970 Evoplus NVMe M.2 / Thrustmaster Warthog Hotas / Thrustmaster Pedals / Valve Index.
