Nitro_74 Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 I've run into a recurring issue with my BS, and F4:AF for that matter, profiles in that during flights in each sim, certain button presses locks that command in my HOTAS (continually displayed in the throttle MFD), and eventually locks up my computer. It's not really isolated to one specific button press, though. In BS tonight, for instance, in Mode 1, I hit pinkie+Fire B (Helmet-mounted System On/Off), and it remained displayed in the MFD. Other button presses before this were fine. Yesterday it was pinkie+Fire E (Targeting Mode Reset = Backspace). Falcon's a whole other ball of wax. I have the most current driver and software for the X52. I use a Logitech G15 keyboard and G5 gaming mouse. Does anyone else use a similar set up? I'm curious is perhaps the software loaded for my keyboard and mouse may be interfering. I haven't created any profiles for my keyboard, though. I'm really struggling with this, and can't quite figure out what's causing the issue. If anyone has any insite to this dilemna, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks. Ramstein Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 try using another persons profile and see how they made theirs and compare it with yours. Maybe a key sequence is messing it up.. :joystick: ASUS Strix Z790-H, i9-13900, WartHog HOTAS and MFG Crosswind G.Skill 64 GB Ram, 2TB SSD EVGA Nvidia RTX 2080-TI (trying to hang on for a bit longer) 55" Sony OLED TV, Oculus VR

Nitro First off how old is your x52, because mine just crapped out...its at least 5years old so the wear and tear will take a toll on it..mine just is way to out of whack I can't hold a steady flight even after re-calibarting it...by Friday will be getting my Thrustmaster Cougar... Try unplugging your stick and then try again sometimes that works..also your keyboard and mouse won't have any effect on the x52.. :pilotfly::joystick: www.virtualtuskegeeairmen.com
Nitro_74 Posted August 19, 2009 Author Posted August 19, 2009 My X52 is only a few months old. I borrowed a profile from a friend for both Falcon and BS as launching points for my own profile. I eventually scrapped their entire BS profile and did my best to match the actual controls to my profile. So, it's a fairly simple set up.
