rocket302 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago please only respond if you have this setup and have tested it. i was thinking about purchasing winwings NavyAce-UFC and some MFD panels and oncve mounted wanted them to align with the VR hands tracking. therefore when you reached to toggle a button or switch you would see the VR hands, but also feel the right buttons etc. My question is: can these be aligned in the right spot so you have the correct feel? if so how had was it to align? do you have to align your hands each game? what if somone else jumps in the seat, do you have to align the hands again? or maybe just adjust the seat position? thanks
speed-of-heat Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Wouldn’t the consequence of this be a double button press, once by vr hands once by your physical hand leading to an unpredictable outcome, like if you reached for an osb you would press it twice… SYSTEM SPECS: Hardware AMD 9800X3D, 64Gb RAM, 4090 FE, Virpil T50CM3 Throttle, WinWIng Orion 2 & F-16EX + MFG Crosswinds V2, Varjo Aero SOFTWARE: Microsoft Windows 11, VoiceAttack & VAICOM PRO YOUTUBE CHANNEL: @speed-of-heat
rocket302 Posted 6 hours ago Author Posted 6 hours ago No you do not need to map the devices. Just use them a feel .
rocket302 Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago I’m going to add some more info I just thought of. Again I think the answer would be no. what I found is if you are using VR hands you must have them set to ‘no pointer’ or they do not interact with controls. This way you can map the devices AMD not worry about the vr hands interacting.
