guitarxe Posted Saturday at 05:53 PM Posted Saturday at 05:53 PM In all the other helicopters I've flown, there is an option in the Special tab to disable rudder trim. But for AH-64D, this option is not there. I have spring pedals so the position of the rudder getting set whenever I trim is very inconvenient and honestly I have no idea how I'm ever going to get used to flying like this. Is there no way to disable it? Can't imagine it's hard to add just like all the other Helis have it? How do all of you with springs deal with it?
JohnW71 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Have you tried the Pedals Without Springs option? It doesn't trim them at all basically. 1
Amarok_73 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago You say, You don't have this option? 1 Natural Born Kamikaze ------------------------- AMD Ryzen 5 3600, AMD Fatal1ty B450 Gaming K4, AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT, 32 GB RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX, PSU Modecom Volcano 750W, Virpil Constellation Alpha Prime on Moza AB9 base, Virpil MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle, Turtle Beach VelocityOne Rudder.
guitarxe Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago That works, thank you! This is very strange because all other Helicopters it says "rudder trimmer" or "pedals trimmer" or "do not trim". Only on AH-64D you have to somehow figure out that "pedals with FFB" is the way to disable rudder trimmer I can now keep this thing stable, but boy is it twitchy and nimble compared to all the other whirlybirbs! null nullnullnull
