Kdrum Posted September 25 Posted September 25 (edited) Hi all. I am faced with a dilemma. winwing failed to deliver half of a HOTAS set-up (both bases) and I am trying to decide if after I have saved enough money (again) should I order the missing bases again, or should I order a HOTAS from another company such as Moza or Thrustmaster. What are your thoughts? Edited September 25 by Kdrum

What are your thoughts?Definitely get a FFB base for the stick if you can afford it. You will never regret it. FFB is the future. All other types of bases will slowly die out. Kdrum Posted September 25 Author Posted September 25 (edited) Will a winwing NavyAce Metal Joystick work on a Moza base? Edited September 25 by Kdrum
MAXsenna Posted September 25 Posted September 25 Will a winwing NavyAce Metal Joystick work on a Moya base?I'm think you mean Moza. I believe you can purchase an adapter or something. But then you might need the Winwing base. I'm not sure. I only use TM compatible products. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
Kdrum Posted September 26 Author Posted September 26 Will a winwing navy ace stick grip work on a moza ab9 base? Yes, the Winwing Navy Ace grip can work on the Moza AB9 base—with the right setup and firmware. Here's what you need to know: Compatibility Overview Physical Fit: The grip connects using a standard 5-pin interface, which the AB9 base supports. Firmware Requirements: Moza Cockpit software: Version v1.0.3.30 or later AB9 base firmware: Version 1.1.1.30 or later Grip Type Setting: In Moza Cockpit, set the Grip Type to WW-16 under Grip Settings. Important Notes “Disconnected” Status: The grip may show as “Disconnected” in Moza Cockpit—this is a known bug. If button inputs register correctly, the grip is functioning as expected. Button Mapping: You can test inputs via the Windows Game Controllers panel. Most buttons should light up, though some may exceed what the applet can display. Setup Tips If you're using an extension adapter (like QR4Rigs), newer Navy Ace grips with locating ridges don’t require the rubber washer. Older flat-interface grips do. Always verify button response in both Moza Cockpit and your sim/game to confirm full functionality. 1
Kdrum Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago After giving it some serious thought I ordered both the throttle base and stick base off of Ebay since I already have the grips and I can't afford a Moza Hotas. I'm still very disappointed with winwing and their customer service.
