Simpit Posted Friday at 09:21 PM Posted Friday at 09:21 PM Hi community, anyone who knows a methode to set real planes (i.e. a MIG 29) - not structure planes (!) - on parking position of an airport which stay in its position up of the beginning of a mission and doesn´t move anytime. Tried all kinds of starts without setting a waypoint but all planes allways start taxiing, take of and are beginning a CAS-mission! Thanks in advance! Solution twistking Posted Friday at 09:23 PM Solution Posted Friday at 09:23 PM Select the "cold start" option and it should appear a "uncontrolled" checkbox. Click it and aircraft should remain parked. You can even activate it with a trigger at a later stage. 2 My improved* wishlist after a decade with DCS *now with 17% more wishes compared to the original
Simpit Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago Works great, thanks! Reason is that real planes in ground parking postion have much better damage effects than structures. When releasing a 2000 pound bomb near structure planes you get only some cluster damages (i.e. holes in the fuselage) - seems very unrealistic for me. Real planes are exlpoding in a more realistic way! 1 Kind regards Hans Dieter Intel® Core™ Ultra 5 245KF, ASUS ROG STRIX B860-A GAMING WIFI, Mainboard, ASUS PRIME LC 240 ARGB Watercooling, Corsair DIMM 64 GB DDR5-5200 (2x 32 GB) DualKit, SAMSUNG 990 EVO Plus 2 TB, SSD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF A3 Snow 1050W, ZOTAC GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Twin Edge OC 16GB -- Windows 11, Patch: 2.9 uptodate
