Simpit Posted Friday at 09:21 PM Posted Friday at 09:21 PM Hi community, anyone who knows a methode to set real planes (i.e. a MIG 29) - not structure planes (!) - on parking position of an airport which stay in its position up of the beginning of a mission and doesn´t move anytime. Tried all kinds of starts without setting a waypoint but all planes allways start taxiing, take of and are beginning a CAS-mission! Thanks in advance! Solution twistking Posted Friday at 09:23 PM Solution Posted Friday at 09:23 PM Select the "cold start" option and it should appear a "uncontrolled" checkbox. Click it and aircraft should remain parked. You can even activate it with a trigger at a later stage. 2 My improved* wishlist after a decade with DCS *now with 17% more wishes compared to the original
Simpit Posted 10 hours ago Author Posted 10 hours ago Works great, thanks! Reason is that real planes in ground parking postion have much better damage effects than structures. When releasing a 2000 pound bomb near structure planes you get only some cluster damages (i.e. holes in the fuselage) - seems very unrealistic for me. Real planes are exlpoding in a more realistic way! 1 Kind regards Hans Dieter Intel® Core™ Ultra 5 245KF, ASUS ROG STRIX B860-A GAMING WIFI, Mainboard, ASUS PRIME LC 240 ARGB Watercooling, Corsair DIMM 64 GB DDR5-5200 (2x 32 GB) DualKit, SAMSUNG 990 EVO Plus 2 TB, SSD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF A3 Snow 1050W, ZOTAC GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Twin Edge OC 16GB -- Windows 11, Patch: 2.9 uptodate
