jack333 Posted Sunday at 05:58 PM Posted Sunday at 05:58 PM Hi, I've had a problem since the last update. I load the game normally (it takes a long time to load). Once loaded, I go to the mission editor to adjust my mission and on the map screen it stutters. I make the adjustments and go to the mission. In the cockpit, the stutters continue, and when I turn a wheel on a controller, I can't do it like before. It turns very little by little. I get desperate and exit the mission and the game. I reload it and do the same thing, but now the stuttering problems are gone, everything runs smoothly. This has been happening to me since the last update; before, everything was fine. Greetings and thanks.
scommander2 Posted Sunday at 07:04 PM Posted Sunday at 07:04 PM (edited) Just wondering that let DCS idles for 5-10 mins after signing in since DCS starts loading plugins (regardless singed or/and unsigned mods) in background (task manager can tell how busy the system is, especially CPU), and see it helps or not. jack333 Posted Monday at 07:21 AM Author Posted Monday at 07:21 AM Hi, I've opened the game twice today and everything seems to be going well. As I said, it's intermittent, sometimes working and sometimes not. Best regards and thanks. Anyway, here's my log for today. dcs.log
jack333 Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago Hi, I've changed the mouse, which was a high-end Corsair, for a cheap mouse and now I don't have the stuttering problems and the game runs more smoothly. 1

Change your expensive mouse "polling rate" from 1000Hz to 125Hz and everything will be fine. Don't confuse with DPI it's not the same. Edited 4 hours ago by JohnRedcorn 1
scommander2 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago ah... I do not think that the mouse issue was captured in dcs.log.... But author has reported that changing the mouse to a cheap one solved the problem, so it's worth trying. Anyway, I don't think that DCS logs captures all problems. From my experience, it was crashing and I weren't seen any problem in DCS log. So sometimes it worth to look in Windows logs too. 1
