Mosencev Posted Saturday at 04:06 PM Posted Saturday at 04:06 PM page 160 (but not write about Bx): Navigation points (B1-B9) points and target waypoints (M1-M9)are handled slightly differently. In general one can state that a normal navigation fix is to update the status of the navigation system, whereas the target fix is to update the position of the target "in the real world" But if I use Radar fix, Bx handled slightly like B1-B9 and update the status of the navigation system. Maybe Bx must work like B1-B9 in Visual Own-position fixes too? Sorry if I wrong.

My understanding is that if you perform a fix on a Bx point, it moves every single point in the nav system by a corresponding amount. If you perform a fix on an Mx point, it only moves the Mx point to the fix, and not the rest of the navigation points in the jet.

It does not matter which type of fix you perform (either RADAR or OVERFLY), a fix on a navigation point shifts the whole flight plan. Any fix on a target waypoint shifts the target waypoint, nothing more. 1 Visit https://www.viggen.training ...Viggen... what more can you ask for? my computer: AMD Ryzen 5600G 4.4 GHz | NVIDIA RTX 3080 10GB | 40 GB 3000 MHz DDR4 DUAL | SSD 980 256 GB SYS + SSD 2TB DCS | TM Warthog Stick + Throttle + TRP | Rift CV1
MYSE1234 Posted Saturday at 08:34 PM Posted Saturday at 08:34 PM (edited) A fix on Bx1 - Bx5 act like normal navigation points (B) in that fixes made on them will affect all the other waypoints. You can see them as extra navigation points you can make navigation fixes on, but that you maybe don't want to fly over. Bx6, Bx7 and Bx9 will act as target waypoints (M) and will only affect the waypoint selected. A fix on Bx8 will move Bx8, and also Bx6, Bx7 and Bx9. Radar fix or visual fix does not change the behaviour. Edited Saturday at 11:01 PM by MYSE1234 1 Viggen is love. Viggen is life. 7800X3D | RTX 4070 Ti S | 64GB 6000MHz RAM |
